Introduction Capital’s first hybrid Canadian Alternative Investment Forum was very successful. In-person delegates were delighted to be back downtown and to network with their peers, while the virtual option allowed us to welcome a record number of attendees. Keynote Speaker David Kaufman kicked off the day with a philosophical overview of investment that explored a variety of questions and answers, and the Spotlight Panel addressed various approaches to planning for uncertainty. Agenda topics included private credit, carbon, mortgage lending, real assets, and private equity secondaries. In addition, insights were gained on macro themes, global volatility and how private alternatives have evolved over the past ten years.
