The 12th Canadian Alternative Investment Forum

“The best CAIF ever!” declared more than one attendee at the 12th Canadian Alternative Investment Forum. It was standing room only as popular economist David Rosenberg kicked off the day with his keynote address Soft Now, Hard Later (The 2023 Recession Handbook), and the at-capacity crowd remained engaged and enthusiastic right through the evening cocktail reception. Candid conversation and panel themes were timely and educational as speakers explored a variety of alternative investment topics, including farmland, private equity, private credit and venture capital. Partner Sponsor Richter Family Office’s post-lunch spotlight panel devoted to multi-generational transitions in family office investing was a highlight, as were the many networking opportunities that delegates enjoyed throughout the day. We are very pleased to report that out of our 230 registered delegates this year, 60 were women.
